Gulf of Maine, Inc. is a trusted supplier of high-quality marine resources, specializing in freshly harvested seaweeds, marine specimens, and natural coastal materials. Founded in 2000 by marine biologist Tidepool Tim, we connect people to the ocean by providing scientists, educators, chefs, artists, and collectors with wild-harvested materials sourced directly from the Gulf of Maine.
Our Marine Life
All sea life is collected to order, by hand—either the day of shipping or the day before. We do not use holding tanks, ensuring that everything is as fresh and natural as possible. Please note that some species are only available during specific times of the year.
Shipping Included
Due to the nature of our products, overnight or next-day shipping is required to keep marine life alive and in top condition. The good news? Shipping is included in the price of our products, so you won’t have any hidden costs. Just note that these shipping rates are reflected in our pricing.
